A couple days ago I glanced at the corner of the screen to see Microsoft updates where available. That's nice I thought and proceeded to install. When the installation was complete I had decided to go to bed, but the update required me to restart. Considering it was already late I simply shut it off to deal with in the morning. Unfortunately, the next morning the netbook would not start... Luckily it's still under warranty so all we need to do is get it to the repair shop in Auckland. (and find the elusive serial number)
